Adelaide Endodontic Specialists is Adelaide’s longest established and largest endodontic specialist practice. Established by internationally renowned Professor Geoffrey Heithersay in 1967, this standard of excellence has grown to include specialist Endodontists Mark Wotzke, Paul Heijkoop, Daniel Farmer and Jonathan Christo.
We use our experience, latest techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to provide your patients with the best outcome.
We offer a full range of endodontic services; pain diagnosis, non-surgical root canal treatment, management of procedural complications, endodontic retreatment, endodontic microsurgery, management of dental trauma, diagnosis and treatment of tooth resorption, cracked tooth diagnosis and management.
We hold on to appointments for consultations and emergencies to ensure patients can be accommodated in a timely manner.
In combination with Adelaide Anaesthetics we have a regular (weekly) IV sedation list. This is the perfect way to treat anxious patients and/or to provide surgical endodontic procedures.
To deliver the best outcomes to our patients we work closely with the referring dentist and always ensure communication is prompt. We are always happy to discuss cases (via phone, email or in person) and welcome you to contact us whenever required.
Drs Paul Heijkoop, Dan Farmer, Jonathan Christo and Mark Wotzke believe in the fostering and transfer of knowledge to fellow practitioners. Paul, Dan, Jono and Mark are enthusiastic mentors, keen to provide advice to those passionate about furthering their endodontic knowledge and skills. They are all actively involved in ongoing education and training, including lecturing and tutoring undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic programmes at the University of Adelaide, and lecturing to the wider profession both locally and internationally. Additionally, we run in rooms CPD, aimed at but not exclusive to newer graduates (LINK).
Mark, Paul, Dan and Jonathan are all active members of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Endodontology, Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and the American Association of Endodontists.
